Crime/ASB perceptions data June 2014

What is it? The Police and Crime Commissioner's Public Perception Survey continually monitors public perceptions of crime, anti-social behaviour and policing. Survey results for the 12 months to June 2014 have now been loaded onto the Observatory and are available at county, district and seven area level.

Example statistic: There have been significant improvements in perceptions of anti-social behaviour in Castleford. Over the last 12 months, the proportion of people saying drunk and rowdy behaviour is a problem has fallen from 28% to 18%; the proportion of people saying vandalism is a problem has fallen from 29% to 21%; and the proportion of people saying teenagers hanging around and being a nuisance has fallen from 40% to 31%.
