Child Health Profiles 2014

21 March 2014

What is it? Child Health Profiles provide a snapshot of child health and wellbeing for each local authority in England using key health indicators, which enables comparison locally, regionally and nationally.

Example statistic: In 2011/12, there were 10,478 A&E attendances by children aged 4 years and under. This gives a rate which is higher than the England average. The hospital admission rate for injury in children is higher than the England average, and the admission rate for injury in young people is higher than the England average.

Where to find it: The 2014 profiles can be accessed at the Child and Maternal Health Observatory. A link to this resource can be found at Resources & Documents ... Wakefield: Health.
