BRES employment data added

What is it? The Business Register and Employment Survey (BRES) is the official source of employee and employment estimates by detailed geography and industry. The survey is conducted annually by the Office for National Statistics and data for the years 2009 to 2012 (provisional) have now been added to the Observatory for the Seven Areas and Wakefield District as a whole.

Example statistic: In Pontefract and Knottingley in 2012, 18.6% of employment was in manufacturing, compared to 11.4% across Wakefield District and 8.5% across England.
